Please pray for the repose of the souls of Abbot Patrick Shelton and Father David Bram, pastor and parochial vicar, respectively, of the parish of St. James the Greater in Hamlet, NC. They were killed in a car wreck on Tuesday.
They have participated in Penance services throughout this area, making many friends for themselves, for the Church and for Her Lord for many years.
Please pray for the parish of St. James, who has been left without a shepherd in one shocking event. St. James is a small parish, not at all prosperous, in a rather isolated area in the southern part of our state, and in the southeast corner of the Charlotte Diocese.
