Can you believe that in my lifetime (I was 11 years old) Time Magazine published a cover of “The Drama of Life before Birth” with such graphic detail and such pro-life emphasis?
How fast things have changed! I actually remember this cover as a boy. My grandfather visited every Saturday and brought Life out for us to read. I remember being very interested and moved by the picture even at 11 years old.

It is so sad that much of the USA has become callous to abortion and the killing of innocents. I really think that our Catholic Church leadership has let us down by not calling out the “Catholic” supporters of abortion. If the members of our Church would vote what the Church believes, we could go a long way in stopping the killing.
Many of our Priests and especially our Bishops are culpable because of their lack of position. Better to lose Church members who support this evil than turn the other way.
I suppose that the original photo was positioned close to the title in a referential way.
If they published this picture again for a pro-abortion story, they would have to change the name of the magazine to “Death”.
