My daughter Charlotte is a design student at Eastern Michigan University here in Michigan. She had to draw a room design around a specific rug. She spent the night working on it and got an A+, but the surprise came a while later when the phone rang.
"Hello Charlotte?" said the voice on the phone. "Your drawing was submitted into the statewide competition between all the design and art schools in Michigan and your drawing won 1st prize! You are invited to a banquet dinner to be honored and to receive a check for $500."
