I don’t know if this is a true story or not, but I suspect it is. It certainly struck me as clever.
The Pope and the Chief Rabbi in Rome were entering St. Peters. The Rabbi gestured for the Pope to enter first, but the Pope replied, “The Old Testament goes first!â€
