We started with Mass at St. Stanislaw on the Rock Church where the national saint and martyr was killed and dismembered by the king in 1079. He is the patron saint of Poland and Krakow.

Then Auschwitz, the largest and most notorious World War II Nazi concentration camp in Europe. Always a moving and sobering tour. Visited the starvation cell and Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe where he gave his life for another.
