People at the Foot of the Cross
Eighteen people, groups and entities at the foot of the Cross. A topic for profound, prayerful meditation on Good Friday
1. Mother Mary and St. John (Mary becomes mother of all disciples)

- John 19:25–27 “But standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother … When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved [John] standing near, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.”

- Through contact with Jesus and his Cross he became a believer along with his famous sons: Rufous and Alexander
