I contacted Netflix three months ago. They confirmed my account was canceled. Today I saw a charge on my Visa card from Netflix. I called them. They said that because my card was still on file it was automatically reinstated. Very dishonest and crooked.

After about twenty minutes on the phone, and jumping through a lot of hoops, it is now finally, finally canceled and a reimbursement is on the way.

Of you also canceled Netflix, double-check to make sure it is really canceled.
