After 16 days we finished filming today. We were able to get our “inside-the-Colosseum” footage without paying $6,000 per hour.
Tomorrow Pope Benedict XVI will ordain 22 new priests in St. Peters at the 9 AM Sunday Mass. We just received tickets from Legionairie Brother Ben Cieply — with seats near the high altar. This is a great gift. More soon!
UPDATE SUNDAY 8 AM:
We are in very good seats in St. Peters for the Mass. The missal refers to the Mass this way “Ordinazione Presbiterale
presieduta da Sua Santità Benedetto XVI.”
The Mass is soon to begin. Thanks be to God, an airline ticket “screw up” and to Brother Ben LC.
After our time here I am very excited to bring our pilgrimage group to Rome in October.
