Mass in a cave in Shepherds Field before we go to lunch and have the delicious Shawarma sandwiches. Then to the Milk Grotto acclaimed for many miraculous births.
Church of Nativity next to touch a star marking the place of Jesus‘s birth. We play pray the 3rd Joyful Mystery of the Rosary at Saint Catherine’s.
Dinner at the Grotto Restaurant with a whole roasted lamb, like the Passover Lamb. The evening ends with the Christian traditional Dania Dancers performing for us, and then inviting everyone up to dance with them. It’s always a blast, especially with the young people!

These young Palestinian Christians are preserving their traditional heritage with this Dabka Dancing. The name of their group is something like “we’re not going anywhere; we’re staying here in the Holy Land“. Enjoy!
