Celebrated Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral before a
horse and buggy ride through the National Park.
Back to the bus to drive around the natural beauty of the Ring of Kerry.
Return through Sneem, traveling over the mountains
To visit the grounds and gardens of Muckross Park. We return to the hotel to freshen up. Then a rousing evening with a traditional Irish dinner at Muckross Quills Farmhouse Kitchen with local musicians and dancers. Returned to the hotel.
Overnight in Killarney.
Janet and I submitted this limerick:
“When you travel with Owen and Ted,
You can count on being well fed.
But they run you about,
And wear you all out,
So you can’t wait to get back to bed!”
