NOTE TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF THESE PILGRIMS — please messages below in Comments and I’ll read them on the bus. Humor is always appreciated ??

This Holy Land pilgrimage is sponsored by the Food Donation Connection which is a very marvelous organization that finds ways to collect wasted food and distribute it to the poor and hungry and those who need it. Brilliant idea!

A lot of folks had arrange their own airlines and we provided transfers to our hotel in Tiberias. The main group of about 30 arrive at Ben Gurion airport at 4:20 PM. By the time they went through passport and collected their luggage we left around 6 PM for the drive to Tiberias and our beautiful Ron Beach Hotel on the shores of the Sea of Galilee!

We settled in, had dinner and celebrated Mass with the waves splashing Right beside us. What a great place for the first Mass in the Holy Land!

God bless all on this journey. I know that they will be glad that they came and hopefully will come again. There is not better experience for a Christian especially Catholic.

Greetings from Left Coast. I'm a plumbing contractor in Oregon who is filled with envy and jealousy, wishing that my wife and I were on the trip with you all. Hopefully within a few years we will get to go with Steve. And by the way Steve, the latest gossip is that you are really Gary Burghoff , aka Radar O'Reilly from Mash! I didn't believe it, but I googled images both of you and Radar, and I must say it is a remarkable resemblance. So when are you going to come clean and confess you really are a Hollywood star?

STEVE RAY HERE: Great stuff for him! Thanks and we can’t wait to show you anyway the land of our Lord. Radar was actually my evil twin 🙂

So glad to see that everyone arrived safe and sound (well, safe for sure!)… Loved seeing the Mass on the first night right on the shore of the Sea of Galilee… Our hearts and prayers are with you in spirit. God bless!!

Hello and God’s Blessings to all of the FDC pilgrims. Your home office is lifting all of you up in prayer as you embrace this pilgrimage and FDC’s mission of John 6:12 “Let nothing be wasted”.

We are all enjoying the daily blog and videos that Steve is putting together!

A special shout out to my beautiful daughter Elizabeth for sending me the wonderful morning sunrise picture by the Sea of Galilee! May our loving Lord and Savior continue to bless everyone on this wonderful journey!

Steve- please let Bill and Sue know that we are keeping the “gremlins” under control …lol
