4:00 AM Cruise arrived in Athens (Piraeus)
06:30 AM Breakfast aboard the ship
07:30 AM Disembarked from the ship and boarded our buses
08:00 AM Drove along the beautiful coastal road to Corinth with a stop to use restrooms and walk across the 4 mile canal cut through the isthmus between Achaia and Greece, connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas.
Celebrated outdoor Mass at the Bema (Judgment Seat) before our guided tour of Ancient Corinth where St.Paul lived for 18 months and to whom he wrote two epistles. Steve Ray, gave one of his favorite talks at the Erastus stone and why we can trust the Bible. This site in Corinth is missed by almost all other pilgrimage groups.
We had a Greek lunch at Perama Restaurant. A quick stop at the “ double-quote1 Temple of Apollo store” for people to buy last minute icons and things from Greece. We prayed the rosary on the way back to Athens. Farewell dinner back in Athens at Novotel Athens Hotel and overnight. Leaving for airport tomorrow morning.
