Today President Trump announced that churches are essential and ordered them open this weekend. He said if governors resist, he will override the governors. We are going to Church!!!
Unfortunately, Trump still thinks he's managing a corporation and forgets that state's have rights that supercede the federal government
STEVE RAY HERE: Constitutionally you are correct, but the states are far less independent than they were at the founding of our country partly due to changes in the amendments to the constitution. But I think it’s also that Trump is smart. The states forget that they are independent entities and are forever begging the federal government for money and support. So, if the states desire to be subservient and dependent upon the federal government, then the president who understands this, plays their game and asserts the clout that they have given him.
And it seems that it takes a good businessman to understand things like this and actually buck the system and the secular media and the liberal Democrats to do it’s best for the people of the country.

Trump was recently criticized for NOT telling the states what to do, now people (like Jim) will criticize him for telling them what to do. Doesn’t matter what he says or does, the left will turn it on him for their political gain. I think that people do see this. I think that you can trust churches to be even more careful than Costco, Meijers and Walmart!
