Biden Eats and Drinks His Own Spiritual Death and Causes Scandal & Pelosi’s Archbishop Responds to her & Gomez vs. Cupich

The latest Crisis Magazine Article begins:

“Yesterday morning at the grand Cathedral of St. Matthew in Washington D.C., Joe Biden ate and drank his own spiritual death. That he received the Holy Eucharist from the hands of a Cardinal of the Church adds scandal upon scandal. One radio wag called it a mass for Planned Parenthood. And so, it was.

“Joe Biden is an enemy of the Catholic faith. This fact must be repeated as often as humanly possible. Joe Biden holds himself out as a faithful Catholic, yet he does not believe in the faith’s fundamental teachings about the human person or human sexuality. What’s more, he advances this unbelief in public policy and will now have the full force of the federal government behind this unbelief….”

I know there are some who may take offense at this Crisis Magazine article and my promotion of it. But I cannot be silent or my own soul will be in jeopardy. I had decided to step back from the whole political scene since what is happening makes me sick. But I realized I could not do so.

God tells the prophet Ezekiel,

“If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. (33:8)

The bishops of the United States sent out a strongly worded comment concerning Biden and his positions that are in dire contradiction to Scripture, Tradition and the constant teaching of the Catholic Church — especially with his extreme pro-abortion positions.

Whether it is poor catechetical instruction or a willing rejection of the truth, either way it is a scandal and his soul is in jeopardy, as are those of people, especially clergy, who condone and facilitate his evil ways. (Take heed Cardinals Wilton Gregory and Blaise Cupich and Bishop McElroy).

St. Paul writes in Holy Scripture,

“For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died.”

Pray for our country; pray for Biden; pray for our bishops; pray for the unborn; pray for our grandchildren; pray …. and do not be silent!

Steve and here are a few thoughts I had.
Joe Biden supports unrestricted abortion which I believe the Catholic Church says is a mortal sin.
I don’t believe Joe Biden wanted to be President for honest service to the country. I believe it is for power.
Joe Biden and the Democrats called all the Trump voters as racists. I find that repugnant.
I understand only Jesus Christ can judge us and determine if we are to enter in to Heaven but I can use my knowledge of someone’s action to determine if they are morally right.
Time will tell how Biden and the Democrats govern and will know within the next six months.

Archbishop Cordileoni on Pelosi’s pro-abortion stance: “No Catholic in good conscience can favor abortion.”

Archbishop Cordileoni on whether he will deny Pelosi Holy Communion for being in manifest grave sin: “-“.

    Judgement.
Jesus pointed out that a bad tree does not bear good fruit.
    And…
Likewise a good tree does not bear bad fruit.
“Legal” abortion has resulted in no good whatsoever.
    “Legal” homosexuality likewise.
The hyped statements about JUDGEMENT are misconstrued to mean that we cannot judge anything, even the taste of a soft drink.
The Judgement talked about in Theology means the judgement as whether or not you or I are surely going to Heaven or Hell. Only God makes that judgement.

It may be that Mr. Biden has excommunicated himself from the Catholic Church by his own actions. And the Bishop of Washington DC, who gives Mr. Biden the Holy Eucharist, is a wolf in sheep’s clothing for rejecting what the Church he is supposed to represent teaches. Mr. Biden supports abotion, “same-sex marriages”, gender dysphoria and the “LGBTQ” agenda. Abortion has already taken the lives of over 61 million individuals in the US. When we consider the Old Testament, and what God did to those nations that practiced child sacrifice, we as a nation are in deep, deep trouble with God.
In the Old Testament (see Deuteronomy 30:15-20,) God gave the people of Israel a choice between life and death, blessings and curses, and urged them to choose life. They did not, and God allowed them to suffer the consequences of death, destruction, captivity and bondage to foreign nations that resulted from their choice. Given what the Democrat Party Platform and Mr. Biden believes, proposes, and supports, the majority of voters in the US have chosen death. We are experiencing the results of our choices in the breakdown of traditional Christian morality because we have rejected God and His moral imperatives. The results of our choice is evident: divorce, adultery, family breakdown, alcohol and drug abuse, pornography, suicide, division, anger, hate, murder (the murder rate in Chicago, for example), rioting and destruction of property, despair, hopelessness, depression, mental illnesses, etc.
Unless we repent as a nation, and that means changing some of our laws, we can expect God to continue to withdrawn from us, especially His blessings, because we have rejected Him. We say “God bless America”, but God has already richly blessed American, and we are squandering His blessings. When a nation abandons God, He will abandon that nation on a wide scale in an attempt to get our attention, acknowledge our sins, repent (stop sinning), and turn to Him for forgiveness and mercy, I hope and pray that happens, but do not see it as likely, given the choices we have made as a people.
Jesus said that “the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few” (Matther 7:13-14). Many will say to Him, “Lord, Lord” and He will say to them, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you evil doers” (Matthew 7:21-23).
Mr. Biden shows symptoms of mental decline and seems to lack the energy and stamina required of the Office of the President. His Vice President may be taking over sooner than later. Either way, the future of our nation and the individual souls of multitudes of persons are at stake.
