Most of our group returned back to the United States today but smaller contingency of us continued on to Rome. We boarded the Aegean Airline flight from Athens for the two hour flight. We started the day with Mass of San Stefano Rotondo. Fr. Cole’s homily here.

Lunch (wow, back in Italy with the best food in the world!) A tour underground at San Clemente, which is one of my favorite churches because it has the bones of two of my favorite Apostolic Fathers: St. Ignatius of Antioch St. Clement of Rome. Then to the Mother Church of the world, St. John Lateran with the papal chair. I also do a talk on the amazing typology around the name of the church on both sides and show all of the amazing relics the church contains that very few people know about.

Checking into our Michelangelo Hotel and dinner at The Goose. Enjoy!

    Hi Steve,

I just wanted to let you know that you were one of the people that was instrumental in my conversion. I was raised a Jehovah’s Witness and believed it for most of my life until God allowed me to be at my lowest so he could bring me up. It took several years, but God led me slowly to his truth that I was begging to be brought to. I was convinced of the Eucharist by scripture, but authority was still bothering me. The day I listened to your speech about Peter, the Rock, and the Keys was the day I started to call myself a Catholic. I’m in RCIA and I will be fully welcomed into the one holy and apostolic Catholic Church next year. Thank you for your ministry.
