After kicking off June 21 with a Mass at the National Shrine of the Assumption in Baltimore, Md., the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Fortnight for Freedom continues through July 4 with Masses and other activities in Catholic Dioceses across the country.

Let’s unite as one Catholic family in prayer and action to stand up for religious freedom!

The Fortnight for Freedom concludes on Independence Day – July 4 – with Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington will celebrate the Liturgy, and Most Rev. Charles J. Chaput, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will give the homily.
