A wonderful free day “at sea”, our last day on the ship. The only events were Sunday Mass followed by Fr. James Conlon funny and intriguing vocation story. Following, Steve and Janet Ray’s Conversion Story. Both stories included below on YouTube.
We learned all about that debarcation process, luggage tags, and all the procedures for the following Monday morning. Everyone enjoyed the free day, meals and drinks at multiple restaurants and buffets and all the shows and extravaganzas that the ship provides.
We celebrated All Saints‘ Day Sunday mass, and then Father James told his vocation story, and I told our conversion story. After that, we had a final reception, room set aside, surrounded by windows looking out over the sea. We sat around in a lounge area, talking and chatting, and since everyone knows each other now, it was very warm and intimate. Drinks and food flowed freely. Wonderful day!
Suitcases are out and being taken off the ship tonight, and we gather on deck one and leave together at 7:30.
It’s been a great cruise and we’ve all enjoyed it. We will get off the ship and head directly to Corinth, where Paul lived for 18 months, and he wrote them several letters. Will have an outdoor Mass at the Bema (judgment seat) where Paul was tried.
