Cruise 4 Island of Crete

Two videos below: 1) Our day in Crete; 2) Steve’s 9-minute talk on Crete and Titus left here as bishop by St. Paul.

Ship pulled into Chania (Souda), Crete as the rose over the horizon. We had breakfast and then departed for Mass at the Cathedral of the Assumption. We had our guided tour Chania and the northern coast of Crete

Steve gave a short biblical explanation on St. Paul visiting Crete, leaving Titus to be the bishop. Where are or humored by Paul’s comment to Titus, saying,

“One of the Cretans, a prophet of their own, said, ‘Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.’ This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.” (Titus 1:12–13).

Lunch at quaint restaurants and cafés along the waterfront. Took the buses to tour the Greek Orthodox Holy Trinity Monastery.

Returned to the ship for some free time before dinner.
