These are the guys that made me Catholic!

The Apostolic Fathers were the very first, men who knew the apostles or those who did. When I studied their writings I had no choice but to convert to the Catholic Church.

William and I discuss these first Fathers in general — the rigors of being a Christian under pagan Rome, how they lived and died, what they taught, and how they converted the Roman Empire to Christianity.  Part I deals with the Introduction and St. Ignatius of Antioch, my favorite.

You can see the video of Part I below.  Part II will follow soon — covering Clement of Rome, Justin Martyr, Polycarp of Smyrna and Irenaeus of Lyon.

You can also see a link to my DVD documentary filmed entirely on location “Apostolic Fathers: Handing on the Faith” with its 28-page StudyGuide.
