Happily, there was a lot of confusion in the White House over the weekend. Due to the precipitous drop in approval for Obama and his ObamaCare, many are backing away. Americans are protesting at Town Hall meetings and Independents are distancing themselves from the White House. Obama now says the Public Option (government in complete control of health care) is optional and not a crucial element in his plan.
What? He has constantly said this is essential! Howard Dean, head of the Democratic National Committee, said even today that it is essential. If government is not in charge it is not real health care reform. Now the Far Left is as angry with Obama as the Conservatives.
The White House is in confusion; Obama is ready to remove the elements that he guaranteed the Left he would be include. Now he is throwing his faithful under the bus and saying he is willing to back off on his earlier “essentials”. But don’t underestimate this man. He talks out of both sides of his mouth. The public option is essential to his plan and he WILL get it one way or the other — no matter what he says.
But Obama is burning up a LOT of political capital on this health care fiasco. It may be exploding in his face. I think the enamel is wearing off the “Messiah” and his halo is getting rusty real fast.
And what is this with unsolicited emails sent by Chief-of-Staff Axlerod? Did they get the e-mail list from the informants who were asked to send in names and addresses of those opposed to ObamaCare? Things are getting very interesting. We need to keep up the heat!

I don’t trust these people at all. I never take into account what they say they will do. I look at what they DO, not what they SAY. learned this w. Clinton. He’d stand at a podium and say one thing and the next morning the news would scream Pres. Bill Clinton did X. Well, X was the opposite of what he had just said he would do. We’ve got to remember that the Left, the DEMOCRAT leadership are liars, thieves and cheats who want POWER. And will do anything to get it. Lie to your face and when you find out they lied, they look at you and say “What? You actually believed me?” Or “I never said I would tell you the truth. about X.”
I’m very scared for the country and the people. I’m really afraid that God may let us go down the tubes because of what we have done to the unborn. And the country seems not willing to reverse abortion by legislation because they keep putting in those who are for it. It seems the people of this country don’t care about killing the unborn. I’m really afraid that God will not help us because of that and what seems to be coming up for the elderly, as in Washington State. w. assisted suicide, and stuff.

I’ve got a good one for you, Steve. The congressman in the next district over, a carpetbagging mass tort rich attorney, named Alan Grayson, planned to hold a telephonic townhall meeting.
The uproar was so large that he changed his mind. On 24 hours notice he announced a townhall meeting at the local IBEW Union hall for 7:45 tonight.
The building has a max load of 130 humans and the parking lot holds 35 cars.
There’s a meeting right before his, ending at 7:30 for the IBEW members. IBEW was a big contributor to Grayson. Do you think all those guys are going to leave so random members of the public can get in? A couple of my friends with iPhone videos plan to post what they see on YOUTUBE! Ought to be a dandy evening.
My own representative, one Susan Kosmas has not announced any townhall meetings. SHe and Grayson are scared to death to get the treatment Rep Castor got in Tampa last week.
