Private meeting between Cardinal George, President Obama in Oval Office

President Barack Obama met privately in the Oval Office on March 17 with Cardinal Francis George, Archbishop of Chicago and president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). The meeting came one day after Cardinal George warned that the Obama administration’s proposed removal of conscience-protection regulations for health care workers “would be the first step in moving our country from democracy to despotism.”

I shudder to think of the words spoken in that meeting.
Mr. Obama IS a despot. Don’t think that under all that platitudinous mush he doles out that there isn’t a serious and very VILE AGENDA for this country!!
Thank God for Cardinal George standing up to the president!

Brother Ed, you are so right. I think this guy could smooth talk the citizens of this country into anything and make them think it’s wonderful. He’s terrifying.
President Obama was the most liberal Senator in the Congress on record. Who knows how deep in the recesses he would have gone had he not voted “P” enstead of ya or na. I wish that Catholics would have chosen more wisely. Hispanics went Obama 2-1 in the West. Now the blood of these children is on their hands as well.
