Great day starting with very moving Mass at Gethsemane – the most powerful site for many pilgrims.
Then to Israel Museum to “walk through” the Jerusalem of Jesus. Also we saw the Dead Sea Scrolls in the Shrine of the Book.
The Franciscan Pilgrimage group then went down into the rugged Judean Wilderness to visit the authentic Baptismal site of Jesus.
Lunch in Jericho, visit to Qumran, swim in the Dead Sea and riding camels.
