Since I am in Ireland, we are cut off from the world – driving a lot seeing everything and preparing for our group arriving in September.
So, what is happening? Do you like what is going on and what is being said? What did you think of Ann Romney and her speech?

Hi Steve,
This convention seems to have the same air of importance and urgency as the Bush/Kerry contest–maybe even more so. I have been impressed with the speakers so far, and was glad to see Cardinal Dolan there to give the invocation. The liberal media highlight their bias when they refuse to mention bold speeches like the one Davis gave (he spoke at the DNC convention in 2008, but has since changed parties due to Obama’s failures). It is OK though, because no one seems to be watching the “major” networks anyway–they lost 17 million viewers to Fox New Channel last night! I liked Ann Romney’s speech, and I believe her when she says that we can trust her husband. We should pray for him, vote our conscience and continue to trust in Jesus. Safe travels!
