We had a long but marvelous day! Started with a wake-up call at 4:45 AM (to make them feel like this was a pilgrimage and not a vacation 🙂 We walked the Via Dolorosa through the streets of Jerusalem from the site of the Antonia Fortress to Calvary and the Tomb.
After a tour of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre before the crowds arrive we had Mass in front of the Tomb of Christ. We walked back to the Notre Dame to regroup and have breakfast.
From there we went to Masada, Jericho, Qumran and the Dead Sea. Everyone rode camels. I had a very special snack at Qumran and everyone screamed. You’ll have to watch the video to find out what it was.
