Here are the questions I answered on Catholic Answers Live on Monday evening.

Not a lot of questions by number – but we spent a lot of time on some of the excellent conversations. Fun show!

1 – I want to become Catholic but do I HAVE to go to RCIA?

2 – My wife is going through RCIA and I am joining her to keep her company and support her, but I am Protestant and plan to stay a Protestant. The class has brought up more questions than answers, like why do you use the Catechism more than the Bible?

3 – Same questioner as No. 2: I cannot accept the Catholic teaching that your Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Christ. How do you justify your belief?

4 – I am not Catholic or Protestant but I am wondering why Protestants seem so upset with Catholics and keep attacking them?

5 – Earlier in the show you tied the Chair of Moses to the Chair of Peter. Do you think Clement of Rome who was a pope soon after Peter would recognize that? Do you think that idea is required of Catholics to believe?

6 – I am considering becoming a Catholic. What is the proper procedures and orderly manner to come into the Church? I have some issues that might cause problems with me joining. What should I do?

    Dear Ray,
This afternoon I listened to you on Patrick Coffin’s radio program and want to let you know that I really appreciate your friendliness, kindness and encouragement to the non-Catholic Christian husband who is supporting his wife as she is receiving Catholic instruction through RCIA. It was so heartwarming to hear you thank him for supporting his wife and to let him know what a good husband he is! God willing there is a way for you 2 men to connect with each other so you can share the love of Christ Jesus with each other outside of the radio program.
Your conversion story is very fascinating; I will have to get your book!
God bless you, your family, and your apostolate.

I would love to listen to it but I don’t see it here. Do I need to go to the Catholic.com site?
    Thank you,
    Mike
