Since we are on airplanes so much, many of the best movies we’ve watched are up in the air. Today was no exception. We are high over the Atlantic Ocean and watched a movie that we needed extra Kleenex to get through the second half.
It’s the story set in England of an extraordinary man reduced by years of oppressive office work at the end realizes he’s dying and makes an effort to turn his life around and do something worthwhile.
Though it doesn’t mention God or Christianity it is a thoroughly Catholic movie. There is one scene that is a bit raunchy, but not overly so.
I would highly recommend watching this movie, but make sure you have a box of Kleenex for the second half.
