Sometimes it is just too obviously a stark answer to prayer. I always taught our kids “You can never outgive God,” and “Go ahead, put Him to the test and you’ll find he is there and He will answer.” As a family we’ve always lived expecting miracles from God — telling the kids “Let’s watch and see how He answers this prayer.”
