Four years ago I wrote an Open Letter to the Filipinos which was published in a parish bulletin in Manila. To my surprise it began to spread and was soon in all the major papers in the Philippines. Then I discovered Filipino people were emailing it to each other all over the world.
That was four years ago and today I was told the letter appeared again, this time in the Philipine Star, a major paper in the Philippines. I hope my Open Letter continues to encourage these marvelous people to remain strong in the faith and to continue witnessing God's love to the world.
