My grandkids all switched from Boy Scouts to Catholic Scouts. NEVER would my family be members after gay scouts and leaders are approved!!
What has happened to our country?
Christians, we are now a despised subculture – get used to it and prepare for persecution. If you’re afraid of persecution and want to stay mainline America then grab a rainbow flag and join the parade.

Do you know the story behind that picture in this post? Were there really Boy Scouts flying the ‘Gay Pride” Flag in a parade? If so do you know where?

STEVE RAY HERE: I know there are new groups springing up to replace the Boy Scouts. I am in France right now and I don’t recall the name of the groups my grandkids go to. I know one of them is called Conquest which is for Catholic boys.
As for the picture, I got it from a reputable news source so if you find anything to the contrary let me know.
Conquest is a good option. Troops of St. George is another. Federation of European Scouting is another (FSE). And, of course, there are the Knights of Columbus Squires.
But, our family has chosen to go with Trail Life USA, a Christ-centered scout like program for young men. It has just officially partnered with American Heritage Girls which is about to celebrate its 20th birthday. AHG is Christian, but also very Catholic-friendly. At the AHG National Conference in June, there was a Catholic Mass and rosary each full day of the conference. The AHG National Catholic Committee has chosen a patron saint (Kateri), and has held a contest for girls to create an image for an AHG national prayer card. AHG is also decidedly pro-life, having created the “Respect Life” patch that girls can earn.
Although a young organization, it is my understanding that TLUSA will be similarly Catholic friendly. And it has all the benefits of scouting 🙂

I strongly agree, Ray! I was a single parent years ago when I put my little boy in cub scouts. I was well aware that the common thread among homosexual men is that they were raised without a father, or had a father who was distant, cold, or critical. I purposely wanted role models for my son – and I was never once let down. My son would’ve been the most vulnerable of the kids in his troop as the only one without a father involved. I would NEVER have considered for three seconds putting him in boy scouts if practicing homosexuals were involved. He would’ve been a prime target on camping trips etc. This is not made up Catholic or conservative thing….it’s fact. Homosexuals have been shown in research to be much more likely to molest children than heterosexuals. So now today, other young boys who are MOST in need of what the boy scouts always meant – positive, moral, faith filled adult men – will be deprived of this strong influence because of the tragic decision to allow openly practicing gay men.
