Our final day, which we call the “fun day“. We visit the model of Jerusalem from the time of Jesus, the Shrine of the Book, and then descend to 4250 feet to the Jordan Valley to renew our baptismal vows and pray the 1st Luminous Mystery at the Jordan river.
From there to Jericho for lunch, and to see the Mount of Temptation and visit a Hebron glass shop. Then to Qumran and the always enjoyable float in the Dead Sea. No pilgrimage is complete without riding the camels before going up to our final dinner together at the Notre Dame Center. Stay tuned for the next video of farewells and comments.
