Michigan bishop suspends funding of Catholic Campaign for Human Development
A Michigan bishop has temporarily suspended funding of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. “After consulting with a number of advisors, Bishop [Bernard] Hebda has decided that for this year (2010), while CCHD’s systems are under review, a donation will not automatically be sent to CCHD from funds donated through the Diocese of Gaylord’s Catholic Services Appeal Campaign,” said a diocesan spokesman. . . .
