Our first full day in Jerusalem and we got a lot accomplished. Everyone loves Mass at the rock where Jesus sweat drops of blood at Gethsemane. Very moving!
Jesus said he loved his Father’s House, the Temple. I always enjoy showing people the Western Wall and explaining to them where the temple stood, and all the history and religious significance of the place before we touch the wall to pray.
We also went to the Upper Room on Mount Zion. I Then gave my talk “The Story of Salvation History from Adam and Eve until Today” while overlooking the panoramic view of Jerusalem. We had dinner on the rooftop of the Notre Dame, looking out over the Holy Sepulchre in the city of Jerusalem.
