This is worth watching. I know the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. These sisters are nine minutes from my house and we know many of them and visit their convent frequently. They do a delightful job of explaining and presenting themselves on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
This is one of many things that make me proud to be Catholic. Where do you find an institution that allows you to live out your calling for God if it is the single life? Jesus mentions those who are gifted to remain celibate, St. Paul lauds the single life of dedication to God. But how does one live out this life? The Catholic Church has made beautiful options for those who are called to such a life of devotion to God.
