After a quick breakfast we watched CNN and saw my friend and publisher, Fr. Joseph Fessio, discussing the pope. He and a few others did a great job. There were a few others who were idiots without a clue what the Church is, including the stupid nun who can’t get a sentence out of her mouth without the word “feminist†in it.
This new, Pope Benedict XVI, will have his hands full and we will need to gird up our loins to work and pray and defend since he and the Church will be under tremendous attack. But our best days are still ahead. Thank you Lord for chosing such a man for such a time! Long live the Pope!
