Long day. Everyone is here safely, well-fed, and off to bed. We had two Masses: one for the group on the Lufthansa plane which arrived on time and one for the group on the British Air plane which arrived two hours late. Janet and I took the first group on Bus 1 up to Galilee, while our Israeli guide escorted Bus 2 up after they all arrived. Everyone is in good spirits, excited and ready to go.
We arrived in Galilee after dark and some of the video clips I took did not work — sorry. I will fix the problem by tomorrow. Stay tuned tomorrow to watch the pilgrims at the Mount of Transfiguration (Lk 9), renewing wedding vows in Cana of Galilee (Jn 2), and celebrating Mass in Nazareth at the Grotto of the Annunciation (Lk 1). Three Mysteries of the Rosary will be prayed tomorrow — on location!
