To everyone who thought the special about Obama was going to be on Hannity last Sunday night….it was taken off. Yes, the program was pulled and not aired Sunday. Someone googled and found the segments had been taken off the internet as well. Here are the 6 segments on YouYube if they haven’t been removed before you get to them. It seems the associations and mysteries are more than coincidental.

    Steve,
Actually if you do a Google search using the term “A History Of Radicalism”, you can find numerous web sites with links to the videos. Also, the web sites indicate that the Hannity show the videos came from was originally broadcast on Oct 5, 2008. A search of the Fox News web site turned up this link: http://www.foxnews.com/search-results/m/21112745/college-years.htm#q=%22A+History+Of+Radicalism%22

It indicates the show originally aired on Oct 6, 2008. Either way, this is actually old news and there doesn’t appear to be a lot of effort to suppress it as I easily found numerous sites with links to the video clips. Maybe they pulled the re-airing of the show on Sunday because it is old.

The pains we are suffering in this country today are the epistomological outcome of Protestant theory lived out. As a convert, I have found the widest possible divergence between the world views of Protestantism and Catholicism. Remember that Protestantism is founded in the Calvinist idea of “the elect”. It is that idea which has influenced our social and financial behavior in this country for the last 200+ years.

When you are “elect”, you tend to view others who are “unelect” as mere things. Think of South Africa and Apartheid. The Dutch Calvinists who settled that land found “pagans” who were obviously, because of their paganism, not of the “elect”, and therefore, could be subjugated and treated miserably as God’s enemies. Now take that to American slavery during the founding of this country.

Take it further. Do a little research and find out how our country has covertly overthrown other governments so that the “elect” could move in with their corporations and plunder the land for $$$. (Remember, having riches is a sign of being one of the “elect” of God — thus the “Protestant work ethic”).

Revolution comes from people being treated with less compassion than Jesus mandated in the Gospels. Such treatment is a staple of Protestantism, which has found that it cannot divorce itself from $$$. No wonder our Holy Father Pope John Paul II warned the Europeans against “mindless consumerism” when they cast of the yoke of Communist oppression. The Catholic worldview understands the warning of the Bible in regards to “the love of money is the root of all evil.”

Perhaps if our “Christian nation” had actually been founded upon Christian principles and had actually lived them out, we wouldn’t be facing the mess we are facing today. People are not animals, and the reaction of many in these videos, while extreme, is also quite understandable, especially if they are not Christian themselves and therefore unable to forgive us for our sins against them.

I wince when I hear people say that Barack Obama is the Antichrist. Though one has a right to ponder who and how the Antichrist will appear on the stage of history, so as not to be one of the duped.

From what I understand, the Antichrist will be very persuasive to the point where even the elect could be duped. Many will find it inconceivable that the man they see and hear is the Antichrist. He will come from a normal background, and quietly fit into society until he hits the stage at the prescribed time. After all, THE Christ was a humble carpenter for 30 years working among his family and peers. In John 1:46 Nathanael asked Phillip: “Can any thing of good come from Nazareth? Philip saith to him: Come and see.”

But the Antichrist will not necessarily know that he’s the Antichrist. Rather, he will be the natural offspring from the womb of a rotting society. He will not be the devil incarnate but a real man who will be perfectly deceived by the devil as to act as an instrument of hell. A mere puppet in the hands of the puppet-master: the father of lies and half truths. In other words, he will be a normal “everyday person” until the time when he is deceived and becomes the great deceiver.

Theologians have speculated that his message will be Christianity without the cross. The deception will convince the masses that evil is actually good.

Fulton Sheen once wrote that when the man of sin comes, he will appear as a great philanthropist.

Are we in the last final days? Reading St. Faustina’s diary one has to wonder. Christ told her:

“You will prepare the world for My final coming.” (Diary 429)

“Speak to the world about My mercy … It is a sign for the end times. After it will come the Day of Justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fountain of My mercy.” (Diary 848)

“Tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the awful day, the day of My justice, is near.” (Diary 965).

“I am prolonging the time of mercy for the sake of sinners. But woe to them if they do not recognize this time of My visitation.” (Diary 1160)
