Obama was viewed as the Saviour; he could do no wrong — how could you not love Obama! I was told to give him a chance. Let’s watch for four years and see how he does. I said, “Nonsense! You can see who and what he is already! I don’t have to wait four years to see our country leaning so far to the left it is losing its balance. Obama sees government as the answer to everything. The results are predictable. I don’t have to wait to see anything.”
I was not a huge Bush fan, though I did like his integrity, honesty and his usual tendency to protect life and practice conservative politics — usually, I said.
I thought the top bumper sticker was very appropriate after the Democrats excoriated me for my intolerant attitude toward Obama when they raked Bush over the coals. These folks have never been very good at practicing what they preach or showing tolerance and charity while accusing others of what they happily do every day!

I am not a big fan or Bush either, but the bashing of the former president always struck me as unfair and in poor taste.
It frustrates me that the media doesn’t even pretend to be unbiased anymore.
Isn’t it strange that you would be called intolerant just for disagreeing with ‘issues’ that the Obama presidency supports?
The back of my truck is covered with Bush/Palin stickers and pro-life stickers. What really amazed me was when I got a nasty note left on my windshield in the Church parking lot.
“I expressed my disgust with Obama — his socialist agenda, his expanding of the culture of death, and the fact that he is way over his head.” I couldn’t have said it better myself. I often try to understand how someone like Obama can want to protect terrorists from the slightest indignity, and then want to subject innocent unborn children to the worst kind of torture and death. How can he say waterboarding and being thrown against a wall are torture, but a babies body being completely burned via saline, or being ripped apart limb to limb or being stabbed in the back of the head and having his/her brains sucked out are perfectly fine. Not to mention that if the baby should survive any of that he’s perfectly ok with setting him/her aside until he/she dies a lonely death. We should pray for his conversion that he might protect innocent life with the same fervor that he tries to protect terrorists lives. I suppose we could pray for him on the National day of Prayer which by the way he and those in his White House will be skipping this year and undoubtedly for as long as he’s President. Keep up the good work Steve, and never back down no matter how great the pressure.
