Sean Regan proposed marriage to our daughter Emily Ray on the Bridge of the Angels “crossing the Tiber River” with St. Peter’s Basilica in the background.
He surprised Janet and I (though we somewhat expected it and have for several years) a few hours before by taking us aside and asking for our daughter’s hand in marriage.
They are both 21 years old and will be married next year after they both graduate. They have been best friends since their early years at Fr. Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor. Sean has already been like a member of the family for five years.
We couldn’t be happier!
