Can you guess what this is? St. Paul would have no idea…

YD7585MTake another look. It has two parts.

St. Paul wrote to the Corinthians 2,000 years ago and told them how to properly conduct themselves on Sunday morning. He also told them what they were to do at the heart of their liturgy.

1 Corinthians 11:23–25 “For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, ‘This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’  In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me’.”

Same here Steve I too am glad I am Catholic. I’m not sure what I’m looking at (puzzles look on face like St. Paul). But I have never seen this in the Roman Catholic Church or in any other rite. Fellowship Cup Prefilled (Grape)Juice/Wafer Communion Set????? Lets pray for our separated brothers and sisters.

This would NEVER be allowed at a Catholic Mass. This has to be marketed to Protestants, because it is used a symbol.

Sola scriptura.

STEVE RAY HERE: Nope, sorry. Wrong answer.

And this is the reason I’m a Catholic! Seeing something like this on Amazon, for Pete’s sake, makes me wonder why to bother showing up for services.

This picture is showing a communion kit in hermetically sealed individual packets. Some evangelical churches hand these out and people pull the plastic off and eat a piece of cracker then pull another piece of aluminum foil off and drink the grape juice. St. Paul would have no idea what the silly nonsense was all about.

"This is wrong and offends me because NO ONE IS CASTING A SPELL ON IT!!!" Not only is this a straw man against non-Catholics, but it is pathetic that your faith in this organization is based on your feelings about superstituously reducing the doctrine of the Almighty to magic juice and crackers.

STEVE RAY HERE: I am allowing this comment for interest's sake and I am sure others will comment. By the way, it is not a straw man because in Protestant circles the great mystery of the Holy Eucharist denied and treated as frivolous.

I am so glad we have the true presence of our Lord at Holy Mass. It’s very sad to see what our non-Catholic brothers and sisters have to be subjected to. Modern Christianity! Saints preserve us!!
