Deepen Your Faith With A

Retreat & Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

February 13-22, 2019

Join Hosts Steve & Janet Ray and Teresa Tomeo with husband

Deacon Dominick Pastore for a beautiful, inspiring, and faith-filled

10-Day Retreat and Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in February!

Sea of Galilee

You’ll visit the major places of Our Lord’s life, including Bethlehem, Nazareth, Galilee, Capernaum, and of course, Jerusalem.

Church of the Holy Sepulchre

Jerusalem with the powerful Western Wall, the Via Dolorosa,

Calvary, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and so much more.

Garden of Gethsemane

This pilgrimage is open to everyone, but we are giving a special invitation to Deacons and their wives to join this trip. The pilgrimage will give special emphasis to the ministry of a deacon, with the expertise of Deacon Dominick Pastore and his wife, Teresa Tomeo, and give an opportunity for deacons to see the Gospel in full color, learn, pray and go home enriched, with their ministry enhanced. We will also have a Mass that we do not include on other trips — the place of St. Stephen’s Martyrdom at the Church of St. Stephen in Jerusalem.

A Special Invitation from

Deacon Dominick Pastore & his wife Teresa Tomeo

You Can Also Take Advantage of an

Optional Pre-Trip to Jordan

Carved Wall at Petra, Jordan

Make the Bible come alive by visiting Amman, Petra, the Roman city of Jerash, the Jordan Valley and more, to see Old and New Testament landmarks, such as the Jabbok River where Jacob wrestled with the angel, Machaerus where John the Baptist was beheaded, and Mar Elias (Tishbe), the Prophet Elijah’s hometown. You will even see Bethany-Beyond-the-Jordan where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. You will then travel into Israel to meet the main pilgrimage group.

This is one trip you will not want to miss!

While at Steubenville two weeks ago, the Coming Home Network and The Journey Home asked me to share stories of my conversion not heard before. Hope you enjoy it.

Still Good Bishops Who Speak and Act…

by Steve Ray on August 19, 2018

Everyone is dismayed and uncertain who they can trust right now. The Catholic hierarchy has to be cleaned up. It is certain there are bishops who knew and were silent.

BUT not all bishops were complicit. I know many that I trust were as shocked and angry as us. Here is one:

Read his recent letter — here. And here is my bishop’s letter here.

May all the good bishops rise up, expose and exorcize the rogue bishops. If any of them knew or know — they need to speak.

Pray for those of the hierarchy who do take a strong stand for Jesus, for morality and the Catholic Church!

HERE is a great homily from a good friend of mine, Fr. Steve Mattson of Lansing Michigan, a later vocation. His brother is Daniel Mattson who is a same-sex attracted, orthodox Catholic activist who wrote the book “Why I Don’t Call Myself Gay.”
