St. Paul and Thessaloniki

Today we voyaged from Athens to Thessalonica where Paul preached the gospel to the Jews and then to the Gentiles.

Today we took a tour of Thessalonica and had Mass in the Catholic Cathedral here. The Greek Orthodox claim to be 97% of the population and are not kind to the Catholics, but there are faithful and devout Roman Catholic’s here in Thessalonica, as you’ll see in this video.

At the church I took 20 minutes to explain St. Paul’s visit here, the condition of Thessalonica and the meaning of his two epistles.

What a blessing it is to be able to watch these videos And follow your pilgrimages!!! Mr. Ray, you and Janet are amazing gifts from God! I’ve been a follower of yours since my parents went on the holy land trip with you last April. Big shout out to Fr. Courtney, we miss you back here at St. Anthony’s! We are praying for all of you! Go show everyone how on fire for God we are in the Lincoln Diocese!!
