I’ve said before that I doubt that President Assad gassed his own people. He would have everything to lose and absolutely nothing to gain. The Islamist terrorists invading Syria under the name of “freedom fighters” would have everything to gain by implicating Assad with using gas and nothing to lose.

If we bomb Syria under false pretenses or discover later we hit the wrong guy while funding the real murderers we will look pretty stupid. If we kill civilians, are we a lot different than Assad?

I am on the side of the Pope and the bishops and the vast majority of the Syrian and American people that the US attack not take place.

Day 8: Judean Wilderness, Dead Sea, Camels &Farewells

by Steve Ray on September 9, 2013

Today is always a lot of fun we go to the Israel Museum, drive the bus down to the Judean Wilderness, eat lunch at Jericho, visit Qumran and then swim in the Dead Sea and ride camels.

Then everyone has their hugs and their goodbyes. There are exclamations of joy but also sadness and tears at saying Good-bye and leaving the Holy Land after we’ve all made good friends and had a marvelous time over the last eight days.
