September 2009

Janet and I are in Amsterdam making a connection to Tel Aviv. We will have a few days to meet with friends, deliver gifts to local Christians and get organized for our two back-to-back groups.

While here I am catching up on e-mail and my website and found this stunning and disturbing news item. Jesus said we need to take up our cross and follow him. Amazingingly there are Christians today literally being crucified for their belief in Jesus. Muslims are doing this. This is what happens when Sharia Law is in place.

Ugandan rebels target Christians of southern Sudan for crucifixion

The Lord’s Resistance Army, which has been charged with multiple human-rights abuses during a long civil war in Uganda, has now begun preying upon Christian villagers in neighboring southern Sudan. Witnesses report that at least 7 people were killed in recent raids, with most of the deaths caused by forms of crucifixion.

Medjugorje bishop emphasizes: don’t view alleged apparitions as ‘worthy of faith’

In a homily posted on his diocesan website, Bishop Ratko Peric, who has led the Diocese of Mostar-Duvno since 1993, has emphasized that the alleged apparitions and messages of Medjugorje are not to be treated as “worthy of faith.” The bishop has imposed a series of restrictions on activities in Medjugorje, clearly designed to discourage interest in the supposed apparitions.

Obama’s “Safe School Czar” not so Safe!

by Steve Ray on September 29, 2009

jenningsAnother Czar that haven’t been fully vetted by our President…..
Barack Obama’s “safe school’s czar” Kevin Jennings hid pedophilia from authorities.

Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings was a huge Obama supporter. (Want this Obama Czar anywhere near YOUR kids?)

FOX News reported:

President Obama’s “safe schools czar” is a former schoolteacher who has advocated promoting homosexuality in schools, written about his past drug abuse, expressed his contempt for religion and detailed an incident in which he did not report an underage student who told him he was having sex with older men.

Conservatives are up in arms about the appointment of Kevin Jennings, Obama’s director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, saying he is too radical for the job.

Jennings was appointed to the position largely because of his longtime record of working to end bullying and discrimination in schools. In 1990, as a teacher in Massachusetts, he founded the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which now has over 40 chapters at schools nationwide. He has also published six books on gay rights and education, including one that describes his own experiences as a closeted gay student.

And what if this had been a Republican or Conservative?

Can Abortion Save the Planet?

September 29, 2009

YES, says Obama’s Science Czar! At the same time Cardinal Mahoney of Los Angeles, said, “the issue of abortion funding in the health care bill is “way beyond my field.” Geez, the sooner they’re both gone — the better! Can’t be gone too soon for me!
