I’ve been trying to study this issue the past few years and there is a scientific consensus on global warming / humans causing it if you consider the number of scientific organizations affirming that:

As with any science, there will always be individuals disputing the consensus:

If you want a collection (audio only) of various programs on this “debate” I have compiled about 2 hours worth as MP3. This includes a rebuttal of the “Global Warming Swindle” produced by U.K.’s Martin Durkin.

Not to make this a debate place, but please do not look at consensus. Most people are not schooled in the affects of weather. They specialize on a subject affected by weather such as bears or another minor object. They do not comprehend what the cause is. There is some warming but the FACT is this has been happening since the end of the “Little Ice Age”. The glacier at Glacier National Park has been receding since the end of the Little Ice Age which is around 1850. There is no evidence of humans being the CAUSE, Phil. There is a growing agreement that in fact the Sun may be the culprit. Wow, the sun affects the EARTH! Amazing! The CO2 camp is rather poor in the reasoning that we contribute ~.53% of the gas. This is not to say we should not try to eliminate harmful chemicals and such since we tend to give ourselves cancer. Do not expect New York City to be under water – IMPOSSIBLE. The oceans will rise no more than three inches. Quit buying into the Chicken Little hysteria. It does more harm. Take your time and money and help the needy and worry less about what we humans can not control.

As I stated initially, I won’t make this into a debate so I’ll leave this comment only.

Thank you.
